I had someone ask if we can just re-string an old hazelwood necklace with new hazelwood beads, and the answer is, sure! cost? $9 for kid sized (up to 17 inch) $10 for adult 18-20 in. It would include new hazelwood beads, new wire, and new hardware as needed. You would just need to mail me the old necklace(you can cut off the old wood beads and toss--be sure to use wire cutters), and mailed in-   put your pretty beads in 1 layer of toilet paper for protection, just to be on the safe side, and definetly tell the post office to hand cancel.  Multiple order discount of 10% still applies!!!  So if you send in 2 necklaces, you get 10% off.  +shipping costs (usually $2 or less in USA).  Contact us for more info  :-)

How to send old jewelry in:  cut off old wood beads, if you can, with wire cutters (not scissors) wrap the  beads you are saving in one layer of tissue or kleenex, and place in regular envelope, take to post office, and have them HAND CANCEL.  If you use only one layer of tissue, it *should* cost you only one stamp, in most cases.  If you have a thick pendant, or something, it might cost more.

Clogged hazelwood beads/ What to do if your necklace stops working!

I made a new discovery recently. Sometimes, after wearing hazelwood, the natural oils from our bodies collect on the hazelwood beads, clogging them up, and keep them from absorbing the acid that causes our symptoms. If that happens, I just wash my necklaces in hot water and a little strong soap (I used Dawn dishsoap, but I'm guessing Dr Bonners would work, too), and gently scrubbed with a dish towel. This is not something I do regularly(that would be hard on the beads), just "as needed", if I notice my symptoms coming back. Works well, and makes my necklaces work for longer.

Jewelry

Here are some bracelets---we usually do stretchy bracelets, they stay nicely close to the skin, (contact with hazelwood and amber is what makes them work), plus they stay out of your way when you are using your hands to wash dishes, etc.  My husband has an anklet that is stretchy and its so comfortable, he says he can't even feel it when its under his sock.

Hazelwood (large beads) with Amethyst chips. I love this one.

the black and silver one is great for men and boys

Good for little girl.  This one is actually on stretchy string, done custom for a client.  I  now recommend that you let us use cable with a clasp, so that small children can't remove (and lose) their jewelry.  Cable is sturdier, too.

Stay on Anklet Baltic amber and Beaked Hazelwood

Stay on Angel Baby anklet.  Solves the problem of how to keep amber and hazel on baby's ankle!  This one has small bead beaked hazel and "rainbow" amber, plus metal beads in the center.  We do custom!

some of the other colors we offer.  This is small bead beaked  hazel with rainbow baltic amber---we do custom!

Stay-On Angel Baby anklet with Beaked Hazelwood and Baltic amber cherry chip beads.   We do custom!

Back side--hook and loop (like velcro) closure, with  string strap to  prevent toddlers from removing.  Other colors available.

How much Beaked Hazelwood (hazel wood) is enough?

This is a question I'm still trying to get to the bottom of, but these are the results of my current research:

Baby(11 lbs)--3 small beads (possibly less would still work)

Toddler (24 lbs)  6 beads (possibly less would still work)

Me, (small woman)  6 beads(like a bracelet) got it, but more worked better.

I am guessing that men will need more, but my research isn't complete yet.

Stay-On Baby Anklet Baltic Amber and Beaked Hazel wood

I wanted to make Hazelwood and Baltic Amber anklet for our infant, Angel, but ran into the problem that infants can't keep socks on, let alone anklets.  I had to come up with an entirely new invention, the Stay-On "Angel Baby" Anklet.  They are costom, but I like to but on 3-4 hazelwood beads (on a baby, a little goes a long way, I'm discovering)  and 2 rows of baltic amber.  It has a hook and loop (like velcro) closure, for a secure hold.   We use very strong cable, and 2 clamps on each end to hold the anklet together.  Sturdiness is very important in baby anklets, because 2 and 3 month old babies are constantly kicking at their ankles.

Why Amber?  Amber (Baltic) helps with teething pain (and some other kinds of pain--it helps me with my wrist pain).  I will post more info on that later

Why Beaked Hazelwood?  Baby had some eczema behind her ears, and it seems to have helped a little with her spitting up (can help with reflux), also her diaper rashes aren't as severe.  She was able to use cloth diapers, when her skin had been too sensitive.

Please message me if you are interested in purchasing a Stay on Anklet.

Hi, this is our Facebook page, which has lots of pictures of what we can make.  Most of what we do is custom, so we don't carry a lot of stock, we like to work with our clients and make something unique for them!

Our story--how Hazelwood (hazel wood) has helped our us!

I may add to this later, but this is a brief story of how our family was helped by Hazelwood.  My 3rd daughter had eczema from the time she was a little baby, behind her ears.  It would peel, as a mom, it bothered me more than her!  But, I didn't know about hazelwood until she was 3 and had developed itchy spots on her back and front.  They did bother her, and  the prescription from the dr didn't work to prevent them.  I got our 1st necklace, and within about 2 weeks they were gone!  It was awesome!  That necklace lasted 9 months, before it wore out and stopped working at which point I started making them for my own family.

I have had REALLY bad eczema since I was 19 years old.  It can take over my entire palm area, red, peeling, even bleeding.  I really did not think that it was possible for hazelwood to help me, so for a long time, I didn't even try.  But finally, I made myself a bracelet.  After 2 weeks, I could see improvement, and now, 90% of my eczema is gone! (pics to come)  I just have this tiny stubborn patch, and the base of my right palm, soooo much better than it used to be!!!  I am so much more comfortable, and I'm not "afraid" to wash dishes and do other things with my hands because of the stinging that used to happen when I touched soap with my rough and red hands.

So, the moral is, you really don't have to suffer through eczema, you can buy a very inexpensive necklace (or maybe even bracelet/anklet), and heal your skin!  Aren't God's creations amazing!?
